Luna painting

So, today I finally finished sculpting for Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. Seriously, Super Sculpey is clearly the best clay from what I've already tried! It sculpts nicely, is easy to reshape and... Well, from the moment I took first piece in to my hands and rolled it around to get the feel, I was in love. I'm never going back to Cernit, ever.
Now, to the actual ponies! I ended up having some serious trouble painting them. I have no idea why, but painting my customs is really much harder to me than the sculpting part. Especially thin, clean lines are hard. I have some ideas but I still need to buy supplies first.

Luna in the process of being painted, workig on her shoes in this one. Also, Celestias front legs and part of her mane xD
It really is a pain to find the exact right colors when mixing acrylics since I only have the basic colors and a few additional colors.

Luna with /mostly) finished painting. Too bad that my sealant ran dry. I really love how her mane and tail came out. And I think the colors are mostly right.

Meet my poor, cluttered scanner. And the ponies on it. On the left you'll see a bride pony I've had since I was a teensy kid, next to her Fluttershy in Gala dress, then Twilight. Under Twilight you can see beheaded Rarity and next to her Rainbow Dash in her Wedding dress, There's also Angel Bunny. And on the right top corner you can see the legs and tail of a project I won't yet reveal >8)

And finally, have an additional goode: Luna painting! This is not the best possible photo, but anyway.
